    Fadi Fathallah is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at UC Davis. Dr. Fathallah served as the inaugural Associate Vice Provost of Global Education and Services at UC Davis Global Affairs, where he oversaw the university’s Global Learning Hub/Study Abroad program, Services for International Students and Scholars (SISS) and other Global Affairs-sponsored programs.

    University of Nebraska - Lincoln

    Dr. Mark Stone is the department head and professor of Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Stone conducts research and provides instruction in areas focused on integrated water resources management, socio-ecological systems resilience, climate change adaptation, and eco-hydrology. He recently completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Chilean Patagonia, investigating community adaptation to climate change. Dr. Stone is an active member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers and the American Geophysical Union.

    Bucknell University

    Dr. Jude A. Okolie is currently an Assistant Professor at the Gallogly College of Engineering, University of Oklahoma. Dr. Okolie's research focuses on identifying solutions that have the potential to decarbonize several sectors such as power, heat and transport. His research interests lie in process modelling and optimization as well as techno-economic and environmental life cycle assessments of CO2 capture and utilization systems. In addition, he explores ways to teach these complex topics through gamification and comics. Dr. Okolie is a senior member of the International Association for Carbon Capture and an editorial board member of the sustainable futures journal.

  3. Prof. Saquib Ahmed
    SUNY Buffalo State University

    Dr. Ahmed is a Physicist and Engineer by training. His specialty and interests lie broadly in the area of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials. Prior to joining academia and Buffalo State in Fall 2018, Dr. Ahmed spent 7 years in high tech industry – Intel Corporation. On the research side, Dr. Ahmed’s group utilizes computational techniques such as DFT and MD, together with various machine learning and neural network models, and is currently focused on a wide portfolio of projects, with overall themes revolving around Clean Energy (photovoltaics, batteries, supercapacitors), semiconductor CHIPS, ...     Dr. Sanchez is an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Swanson School of Engineering and is the Associate Director of the Mascaro Center for Substantiable Innovation (MCSI). In the MCSI, he oversees the university-wide undergraduate certificate in sustainability, the Master of Science in Sustainable Engineering, the John C. Mascaro Faculty Fellows program, and many of the MCSI community engagement initiatives.
