This panel will feature undergraduate students and faculty mentors from the NSF-funded Building a Legacy in Engineering (BLE) project. BLE supports students in designing multi-month, community-engaged engineering initiatives that address root causes of inequities and are built for sustainability beyond the academic year. Representing work across Tuskegee University, students in the 2025–2026 BLE cohort are focusing on agricultural equity, sustainable housing and entrepreneurship infrastructure, and innovative community–campus engagement models.
