In this paper, we present a curriculum review of ABET-accredited industrial engineering programs in the United States. We show the descriptive analyses of these programs’ curricula, including required core industrial engineering courses, other required engineering courses, mathematics and science courses, and general education courses. We compare the findings to the 2005 and 2015 benchmarking of these programs. We also highlight how the evolution of artificial intelligence is influencing the industrial engineering curriculum.
