2. Dr. Himadri Sen Gupta Colorado State University - Pueblo [biography]

   Himadri Sen Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering at Colorado State University Pueblo, where he leads the Gupta Risk-Informed Systems Engineering (RISE) Lab. His research group focuses on developing data-driven and optimization-based decision-support tools to enhance the resilience of communities and infrastructure systems under natural hazards. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, where he also completed his Master’s degree in the same field. During his doctoral studies, Himadri worked as a Research Assistant affiliated with two prominent labs: the Community Resilience CORE Research Lab, a NIST-funded initiative focusing on natural hazard mitigation and resilience, and the NetSys Research Lab, where he contributed to the NSF-funded CoPe project aimed at enhancing coastal community resilience.
