Library professionals play a critical role in identifying and analyzing AI-generated misinformation and disinformation. This paper presents a scientometric analysis of publications retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection, spanning from 2019 to the present, on the topics of misinformation/disinformation and AI within the field of engineering. Using Bibliometrix and CiteSpace, we examine author collaboration networks and conduct a co-citation analysis to identify key research trends and emerging fronts in this domain. The insights derived from this study offer valuable implications for engineering librarians and can help inform future research directions.
