Session Description

This session is the first part of “Leading Culture Shifts to Broaden Participation: An Interactive Session for Engineering Leaders.” Attendees will receive maximum benefit by participating in both sessions since the sessions build on each other.
Broadening Participation in an organization is challenging. One key to significant growth in this area is having an organizational culture that continuously builds an affinity for Broadening Participation. This two-part session will focus on how to make shifts in academic culture toward this affinity. Attendees will engage in brainstorming and discussion that will help them obtain further understanding and actions needed to make these shifts in culture.
